BIW-8962 is a humanized anti-ganglioside GM2 antibody. BIW-8962 exhibits ADCC/CDC activity against multiple myeloma cells. BIW-8962 demonstrates potent anti-tumor activity in mouse xenograft models. BIW-8962 is indicated for research in myeloma and other cancers[1][2].

B BIW-8962 (0.1-10 mg/kg，静脉注射，每两周一次，3-4 周) 在 KMS-11 和 OPM-2/GFP 重度联合免疫缺陷症 (SCID) 小鼠模型中表现出抗肿瘤活性[1]。
BIW-8962 (0.1-10 μg/100μL，静脉注射，每天一次，在注射 SBC-3 细胞后第 7、14、21、28 和 35天) 在自然杀伤细胞耗竭的 SBC-3 SCID 小鼠模型中可抑制肿瘤多器官转移，增加凋亡细胞数量，延长的生存期[2]。

Animal Model: KMS-11 SCID mice model[1]
Dosage: 0.1 mg/kg
Administration: i.v., biweekly for 3 weeks
Result: Exhibited a potent anti-tumor activity.
Animal Model: OPM-2/GFP SCID mice model[1]
Dosage: 10 mg/kg
Administration: i.v., biweekly for 4 weeks
Result: Suppressed OPM-2/GFP cell growth and serum M protein elevation.
Animal Model: SBC-3 (106) SCID mice (5-6 weeks) depleted of natural killer cells model[2]
Dosage: 0.1,1,10 μg/100μL
Administration: i.v., once a day, on days 7, 14, 21, 28, and 35 after injection of SBC-3 cells
Result: Inhibited multiple organ metastases of SBC-3 cells, increased the number of TUNEL-positive apoptotic cells, prolonged survival of the mice compared with control.
