Dibenzo[b,e]oxepin-11(6H)-one (Compound 1a) 对秀丽隐杆线虫 (Caenorhabditis elegans) 的运动能力具有抑制作用，其 IC₅₀ 值为 389 μM。在 1 mM 浓度下处理 10 分钟可使线虫运动减少 80%^[1]。
