Enables GTP binding activity. Involved in Ras protein signal transduction. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including defense response to protozoan; intracellular signal transduction; and positive regulation of interferon-gamma production. Predicted to be located in Golgi apparatus; cytosol; and nucleoplasm. Predicted to be active in glutamatergic synapse and plasma membrane. Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; early embryo; metanephros; sensory organ; and tooth.
