Kentsin 

Kentsin (Thr-Pro-Arg-Lys), a contraceptive tetrapeptide, is originally extracted from hamster embryos. Kentsin prevents the maturation of Graafian follicles and consequently inhibits ovulation, without binding to opioid receptors. Kentsin has opiate properties on gastrointestinal motility^[1][3][5][6].

Kentsin（100 μg/mL，18 小时）可增加转化了 Kirsten 肉瘤病毒的 K-Balb 19a/h 细胞中内源性异嗜性病毒的表达^[2]。
Kentsin（30 μM）不会抑制豚鼠回肠 (GPI) 或小鼠输精管 (MVD) 的电刺激收缩^[1]。
