Opiranserin  (Synonyms: VVZ-149)

Opiranserin (VVZ-149), a non-opioid and non-NSAID analgesic candidate, is a dual antagonist of glycine transporter type 2 (GlyT2) and serotonin receptor 2A (5HT2A), with IC₅₀s of 0.86 and 1.3 μM, respectively. Opiranserin shows antagonistic activity on rP2X3 (IC₅₀=0.87 μM). Opiranserin is development as an injectable agent for the treatment of postoperative pain^[1][2][3].

Opiranserin（25 mg/kg，皮下注射）可有效减少机械性异常性疼痛和疼痛相关行为，其功效与 3 mg/kg Morphine相当^[3]。 Opiranserin（80 mg/kg，口服）可减轻大鼠 SNL 模型中的机械性异常性疼痛^[4]。
