Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)is a pro-inflammatory cytokine. TNF-α has multi-biological effects by binding to p55 receptor and p75 receptor, such as causing inflammation, apoptotic cell death, and mediate the release of variety cytokines like IL-6, IL-8 and IL-1β.
