Phosphoribosyl diphosphate (5-Phosphoribosyl-l-pyrophosphate) pentasodium 是腺嘌呤磷酸核糖转移酶和次黄嘌呤-鸟嘌呤磷酸核糖转移酶共有的底物，在缺乏次黄嘌呤-鸟嘌呤磷酸核糖转移酶的人红细胞中积累。向纯化的腺嘌呤磷酸核糖基转移酶中添加 5-Phosphoribosyl-l-pyrophosphate 可使其稳定，防止热失活[2]。
