Animal Model: HαSyn-injected PD mice[1]
Dosage: 200 μg
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection, at days 7
Result: Increased Treg in cervical lymph nodes and spleen.
Showed a significant elevation of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ Treg.
Revealed an expansion of Treg in brain.
Increased IL-10 levels in cervical lymph nodes and spleen.
Prolonged latency to fall from the rotarod.
Prevented the loss of dopaminergic and total Nissl+ neurons in the SN.
Reduced numbers of CD4+, CD8+ T cells and CD11b+ myeloid cells.
Animal Model: Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase (G6PI)-induced arthritis mice[2]
Dosage: 100 μg
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection, at days 7
Result: Reduced arthritis severity scores.
Showed no infiltration of neutrophils, macrophages or lymphocytes into the joints and cartilage destruction.
Increased CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ Treg cells.
Reduced the percentage of Th cells producing TNF-α, IL-17 or RANKL.
Increased Treg cells in both spleens and lymph nodes and levels of CTLA4 expression and proliferation.
