Anti-Rat TCR alpha/beta Antibody (R73) is an anti-mouse TCR alpha/beta IgG1 monoclonal antibody. Anti-Rat TCR alpha/beta Antibody (R73) suppresses immune response by depleting α/β+ T cells. Anti-Rat TCR alpha/beta Antibody (R73) can inhibit the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Anti-Rat TCR alpha/beta Antibody (R73) can extend graft survival time by reducing infiltration of T cells and neutrophils. Anti-Rat TCR alpha/beta Antibody (R73) can be used for researches on inflammation, metabolic conditions and xenotransplantation such as arthritis, acute inflammatory peripheral neuropathy and diabetes[1][2][3][4].

Animal Model: CFA induced female Dark Agouti mice (90-100 g)[1]
Dosage: 100 μg
Administration: Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.), on day 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 22
Result: Significantly inhibited the progression of arthritis.
Significantly reduced synovial hyperplasia and inflammatory cell infiltration.
Caused mild cartilage erosion.
Effectively eliminated T cells from peripheral blood and synovial tissue.
Inhibited cellular immune response.
Animal Model: IDDM rats[2]
Dosage: 0.5 mg/kg, combined with IL-6 mAb (0.01 mg/kg) and IL-17A mAb (0.1 mg/kg)
Administration: Intravenous injection (i.v.), once daily, for 5 days
Result: Significantly reduced blood sugar to normal levels.
Significantly increase the quality of β cells.
Reduced pancreatic islet immune cell infiltration.
Reduced the apoptosis rate of β cells and promoted β cell proliferation.
Animal Model: BN rats (10-14 weeks)[3]
Dosage: 0.1 mg/kg
Administration: Intraperitoneal injection (i.p.), once daily, for 7 days
Result: Significantly prolonged the survival time of kidney transplants (long-term survival or complete acceptance of transplants).
Reduced the levels of IgM and IgG homologous antibodies.
Upregulated Th2 cytokines (IL-4 and IL-10) in the transplant and inhibited Th1 cytokines (IL-2 and IFN-γ).
Significantly reduced the infiltration of T cells and neutrophils within the graft.
Inhibited the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β and TNF-α) in the graft.
