Bedaquiline impurity 2-d₆  (Synonyms: 贝达喹啉-d₆)

Bedaquiline impurity 2-d₆ is deuterium labeled Bedaquiline. Bedaquiline (TMC207) is a diarylquinoline agent and inhibits Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) F1FO-ATP synthase through targeting of both the c- and the ε-subunit[1]. Bedaquiline has uncoupler activity. Bedaquiline is used for the multi-agent resistant tuberculosis[2].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
