The DNase I protein is a serum endonuclease secreted by a variety of exocrine and endocrine organs and expressed in non-hematopoietic tissues. It preferentially selects protein-free DNA, plays a key role in apoptosis-induced cell death, and inhibits actin polymerization by specifically binding to G-actin. DNase I Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived DNase I protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag. The total length of DNase I Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is 282 a.a., with molecular weight of ~37 kDa.
