The USF1 protein is a transcription factor that binds symmetric E-box DNA (5'-CACGTG-3') in viral and cellular promoters. Efficient DNA binding requires dimerization, typically using bHLH proteins. USF1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived USF1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.
