Topoisomerase II-IN-24 is a Topoisomerase IIα inhibitor with an IC50 of 41.67 μM. Topoisomerase II-IN-24 can inhibit cancer cells proliferation, induce G2/M phase arrest and induce apoptosis. Topoisomerase II-IN-24 can be used for the research of cancer, such as colon cancer[1].

Topoisomerase II-IN-24 (Compound 8) (10 μM) 对多种癌细胞系表现出强效细胞毒性，特别是对 NCI-H522 和 UACC-62 ，其生长抑制率 (GI%) 分别为 97.7% 和 98.95%[1]。
Topoisomerase II-IN-24 在 HT-29 结肠癌细胞中的 GI50 值为 2.61 μM，在 FHC 正常结肠细胞中的 IC50 值为 44.37 μM[1]。
Topoisomerase II-IN-24 (0.1-100 μM) 表现出剂量依赖性的拓扑异构酶 IIα 抑制活性，其 IC50为 41.67 μM[1]。
Topoisomerase II-IN-24 (2.61 μM, 24 h) 可诱导 HT-29 细胞发生 G2/M 期阻滞[1]。
