GFRAL Protein, a brainstem-restricted receptor for GDF15, regulates food intake, energy expenditure, and body weight in response to metabolic and toxin-induced stresses. Binding to its ligand, GDF15, GFRAL interacts with RET, activating MAPK- and AKT-signaling pathways. Through its extracellular domain, the receptor forms complexes with GDF15 and RET, mediating cellular signaling when RET is engaged post GDF15 binding. This interaction sequence underscores GFRAL's role in modulating physiological responses to metabolic challenges. GFRAL Protein, Human (HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived GFRAL protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-Avi, C-His labeled tag.
