RNA polymerase-IN-4 is a RNA polymerase inhibitor with an EC50 of 22.81 nM. RNA polymerase-IN-4 exhibits potent anti-influenza virus activity (EC50 = 3.76 nM), relatively low cytotoxicity (CC50 = 29.91 μM). RNA polymerase-IN-4 can be used for the research of infection, such as influenza virus infection[1].

RNA polymerase-IN-4 (Compound (S,S)-5a) (5-10 mg/kg,静脉注射,感染后第 2 天起每天两次) 能显著缓解感染甲型流感 A/WSN/33 (H1N1) 的 BALB/c 小鼠的体重下降,并降低其肺组织病毒载量[1]

Animal Model: BALB/c mice infected with influenza A/WSN/33 (H1N1)[1]
Dosage: 5 and 10 mg/kg
Administration: Intravenously injection, twice a day from day 2 post-infection
Result: Alleviated weight loss and reduced lung tissue viral load.
Showed no obvious abnormal toxicity.
