SC-53228 is an orally active human leukotriene B4 receptor (LTB4 receptor) antagonist. SC-53228 exerts its anti-inflammatory effect by specifically blocking the LTB4 receptor and inhibiting neutrophil infiltration. SC-53228 has demonstrated significant efficacy and good safety in various inflammatory models. SC-53228 can be used for a variety of inflammatory diseases, such as psoriasis and ulcerative colitis[1][2].

(In Vivo)

SC-53228 (20 mg/kg，口服，每日两次，持续 56 天) 在棉顶狨猴自发性结肠炎模型中表现出显著的抗炎作用和良好的安全性[1]。
SC-53228 (100-1000 μg 或 1% 凝胶，局部给药；2.5-10 mg/kg (小鼠)，40 mg/kg (猴)，口服，单次给药或每日一次，持续 5 天）在小鼠、豚鼠和恒河猴的银屑病模型中表现出显著的抗炎作用，局部和口服给药均可快速抑制炎症[2]。

Animal Model: Spontaneous colitis model established in Cotton-top tamarins, Saguinus Oedipus[1]
Dosage: 20 mg/kg
Administration: Oral administration (p.o.), twice daily for 56 days
Result: Significantly improved colitis, weight gain, and improved stool consistency.
Significantly reduced the inflammatory index, eliminate neutrophils, restore mucus production, and promote mucosal regeneration.
