生物活性

Aflatoxin G1 is an orally active aflatoxin found in the molds Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus. Aflatoxin G1 is a toxic and carcinogenic mycotoxin found in rice, pepper, and other food crops. Aflatoxin G1 induces DNA damage and apoptosis in alveolar type II cells via the MAPK signaling pathway. Aflatoxin G1 upregulates TNF-α, triggering chronic lung inflammation associated with preneoplastic induction[1][2][3].

Western Blot Analysis[1]

Cell Line: A549 cells
Concentration: 0.5, 2, 4, 10 μg/mL
Incubation Time: 24 h
Result: Led to upregulation of γ-H2AX protein expression in A549 cells.
Showed up-regulation of Fas, FasL, caspase-8, and Bax, down-regulation of Bcl-2, and activation of caspase-3 in A549 cells.

Western Blot Analysis[2]

Cell Line: Mouse AT-II cells and A549 cells
Concentration: 4 μg/mL, TNF-α (20 μg/ml) treatment
Incubation Time: 24 h
Result: Synergized with TNF-α to significantly enhance the expression of γ-H2AX, p-ATM and p-chk2 in A549 cells.
Synergistically with TNF-α significantly enhanced the expression of CYP2A13.
