GCLC Antibody (YA2898) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to GCLC.
研究背景

Glutamate-cysteine ligase, also known as gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase is the first rate-limiting enzyme of glutathione synthesis. The enzyme consists of two subunits, a heavy catalytic subunit and a light regulatory subunit. The locus encodes the catalytic subunit, while the regulatory subunit is derived from a different related gene located on chromosome 1p22-p21. Mutations at The locus have been associated with hemolytic anemia due to deficiency of gamma-glutamylcysteine synthetase and susceptibility to myocardial infarction.

  • Western blot analysis of extracts from MCF7 (lane 2(20μg)),A549 (lane 3(20μg)),C6 (lane 4(20μg)) ,Raw264.7 (lane 5(20μg)) and Jurkat (lane 6(20μg)) using GCLC Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (beta Actin, HY-P83730, 1/5000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit/Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
