Xanthine Oxidase Antibody (YA1957) is a Rabbit-derived and non-conjugated IgG monoclonal antibody, targeting to Xanthine Oxidase.
研究背景

Xanthine dehydrogenase belongs to the group of molybdenum-containing hydroxylases involved in the oxidative metabolism of purines. The encoded protein has been identified as a moonlighting protein based on its ability to perform mechanistically distinct functions. Xanthine dehydrogenase can be converted to xanthine oxidase by reversible sulfhydryl oxidation or by irreversible proteolytic modification. Defects in xanthine dehydrogenase cause xanthinuria, may contribute to adult respiratory stress syndrome, and may potentiate influenza infection through an oxygen metabolite-dependent mechanism.

  • Western blot analysis of extracts from Human milk (lane 2(20μg)) , Mouse liver (lane 3(20μg)) and Rat liver(lane 4(20μg)) using Xanthine Oxidase Rabbit mAb. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 2 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (1/1000) and Loading control antibody (beta Actin, HY-P83730, 1/5000) was used in 5% non-fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit/Mouse IgG-HRP Secondary Antibody (1/10000) was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
