Hydroxychloroquine-d₄-1 sulfate  (Synonyms: 羟氯喹 d₄ (硫酸盐) (烷基上氘))

Hydroxychloroquine-d₄-1 (sulfate) is the deuterium labeled Hydroxychloroquine. Hydroxychloroquine is a synthetic antimalarial agent which can also inhibit Toll-like receptor 7/9 (TLR7/9) signaling. Hydroxychloroquine is efficiently inhibits SARS-CoV-2 infection in vitro[1][2][3].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs^[1].
