Extrinsic Pathway  (外源性途径)

别名: Death Receptor-mediated Pathway

The extrinsic pathway is activated by the binding of transmembrane receptors of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily [Death receptors: CD95/APO-1/Fas, TNF receptor, TNF related apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL)] with their ligands (Death ligands: APO-1/Fas, TNF, TRAIL). The binding of death ligands leads to the recruitment of procaspase 8 to the “death inducing signaling complex” (DISC) together with the adaptor proteins FADD or TRADD.
