Anti-Mouse/Human IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) is a rat-derived anti-mouse IL-5 IgG1 κ type antibody inhibitor. Anti-Mouse/Human IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) can significantly decrease eosinophils. Anti-Mouse/Human IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) shows potent anti- inflammation effect on pulmonary inflammation and asthma[1][2][3][4].

Anti-Mouse/Human IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) (4 mg/kg，腹腔注射，每天给药直至 10 天后处死) 可以逆转慢性哮喘小鼠模型中已形成的气道嗜酸性粒细胞增多，但不能逆转已形成的气道高反应性[1]。
Anti-Mouse/Human IL-5 Antibody (TRFK5) (1 mg/kg，在心肌梗死手术前 1 天给药) 通过消耗嗜酸性粒细胞，完全消除了 IL-5 对心肌梗死的保护作用[2]。
Anti-Mouse/Human IL-5 Antibody (1 mg/kg，腹腔注射，单剂量) 可抑制肺部炎症小鼠模型中的肺部和血液嗜酸性粒细胞增多[3]。
Anti-Mouse/Human IL-5 Antibody (100 µg，经鼻内给药，单剂量) 可显著减轻肺部嗜酸性粒细胞炎症和气道高反应性[4]。

Animal Model: Chronic asthma micemodels (C57BL/6, female, 6-10 week)[1]
Dosage: 4 mg/kg
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection, every day until killed at day 10
Result: Showed a dramatic reduction in the absolute number of eosinophils recovered in BAL fluid.
Significantly increased lymphocytosis in BAL fluid.
Exhibited airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR).
Animal Model: Myocardial infarction mice models(C57BL/6, male, 8-10 week)[2]
Dosage: 1 mg/kg
Administration: 1 day before myocardial infarction surgery
Result: Significant reduced cardiac function and wall thickness, and increased of infarct size.
Muted the inhibitive effects of IL-5 on CD206+ macrophage polarization.
Blocked STAT6 phosphorylation.
Animal Model: Pulmonary inflammation mice models (B6D2F1, male, 6-10 weeks)[3]
Dosage: 1 mg/kg
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection
Result: Significantly inhibited eosinophil recruitment into BALF.
Inhibited the reduction of eosinophils in the bone marrow.
Animal Model: IL-5-induced blood eosinophilia mice models (B6D2F1, male, 6-10 weeks)[3]
Dosage: 1 mg/kg
Administration: Intraperitoneally injection
Result: Significantly reduced blood eosinophilia.
Exhibited a dramatic increase in the number of T cells in BALF after 24 weeks.
Increased IL-5 mRNA levels in the lungs.
Animal Model: Asthma mice models[4]
Dosage: 100 µg
Administration: Intranasally
Result: Decreased total number of cells and the percentage of eosinophils recovered from BALF.
Showed a significant reduction in the magnitude of the lung tissue inflammatory cell infiltration elicited.
Showed lower Rrs responses to methacholine.
Showed higher average values for PD100 and MR.
