Inverse Agonist逆激动剂

Inverse agonist is a ligand that binds to the same receptor-binding site as an agonist and not only antagonizes the effects of an agonist but, moreover, exerts the opposite effect by suppressing spontaneous receptor signaling (when present).

逆激动剂是一种配体，它与激动剂结合在相同的受体结合位点上，不仅能拮抗激动剂的作用，而且还能通过抑制自发的受体信号(当存在时)发挥相反的作用。
