MCU protein is a mitochondrial inner membrane calcium uniporter that forms the pore of the uniplex to promote calcium uptake by mitochondria. MICU1 and MICU2 complexly regulate their activity, with low Ca(2+) levels down-regulating and high Ca(2+) levels stimulating MCU. MCU Protein, Mouse (Cell-Free, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived MCU protein, expressed by E. coli Cell-free , with N-10*His labeled tag. The total length of MCU Protein, Mouse (Cell-Free, His) is 301 a.a., with molecular weight of 37.7 kDa.
