The ELK1 protein is a transcription factor that binds to purine-rich DNA and forms a ternary complex with SRF on the serum response element. It induces transcription, especially upon stimulation of the JNK signaling pathway. ELK1 Protein, Human (sf9, His-GST) is the recombinant human-derived ELK1 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with N-His, N-GST labeled tag. The total length of ELK1 Protein, Human (sf9, His-GST) is 428 a.a., with molecular weight of ~73 kDa.
