Galectin-3-IN-1 (Compound 1) is a potent multivalent inhibitor of galectin-3 (Gal-3). Galectin-3 participates in many cancer-related metabolic processes[1]. Galectin-3-IN-1 is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
